Orange Oil |
|
| |
|
 |
This is for people who prefer
to oil their furniture rather than wax it. Orange Oil has great
cleaning properties and is therefore marvellous for old neglected
furniture as it both cleans and restores.
It is also a simple way of keeping cane furniture in good condition
and for feeding unpolished surfaces, such as drawers and undersides
of tables. It also gives a golden hue to pine.

Carnauba Polish |
|
| |
|
|
| |
A high sheen finishing
polish excellent for table tops and other surfaces prone to fingering.
Made with bees wax and a high proportion of carnauba wax, it is also
very good on modern finishes.
This polish brings up a lovely finish on marble, tortoiseshell etc.
and is good for preventing tarnish of metal.
Excellent for decoupage.
Carnauba wax is obtained from the fronds of the Brazilian carnauba
palm (Copernica Cerifera) and is the hardest natural wax available.

Cabinet Makers Wax |
|
| |
|
|
|
This polish is
the traditional type of bees wax polish with the addition of carnauba
wax which gives added sheen and a harder finish. It is a great help
in filling small holes and defects such as hairline cracks.
Marvellous on Oak, Jarrah and other woods that have no specific finish.Used
over the restoring polish, it produces a marvellous natural finish.
In this case it is best applied with 0000 wire wool. |

Restoring
& New Timber Polish (Dark or Clear) |
| |
|
This polish is
designed as a starter polish for new work or for furniture that has
been stripped back. It will bring out the natural grain of the wood,
feed the timber and give a good initial sheen.
It is excellent for restoring moisture to furniture that has become
dry or faded, it is also very good on leather.
This polish is not recommended for constant use on French Polished
furniture or other similarly sealed surfaces as it may be too 'greasy'.
