Guy Ravine has been a professional Woodturner since 1979. He is known mostly as a Spindle turner, but is equally adept at Bowl and Face-plate turning. He has been on the Register of Professional Turners since 1993, and has become a regular demonstrator at major woodworking shows such as Axminster, NEC, and Alexandra Palace. He is also a regular demonstrator at woodturning clubs nationwide, is a writer for Woodturning magazine, and has recently produced a teaching video.

Guy has sold work to clients worldwide, and has taken part in many exhibitions in the UK and abroad. Work has been presented to, and bought by many celebrity clients.

Courses can be customised if required. Guy feels that courses should result in the participants taking finished work away with them, rather than just carrying out exercises. However, the amount of finished work will depend on the ability and aptitude of the participant!
