Woodturning Courses with Guy RavineGuy Ravine has been a professional Woodturner since 1979. Known best as a spindle turner, Guy is equally adept at bowl and face-plate turning and has been on the Register of Professional Turners since 1993; he has become a regular demonstrator at major woodworking shows such as Axminster, NEC, and Alexandra Palace as well as woodturning clubs nationwide. He has sold work to clients world wide, and has taken part in many exhibitions in the UK and abroad where his work has been presented to and bought by many celebrity clients. Guy writes articles for 'Woodturning' magazine and has recently produced a teaching video. He feels that his courses should result in the participants taking finished work away with them, rather than just carrying out exercises. The amount of finished work will, however, depend on the ability and aptitude of the participant. Guy offers basic and advanced courses - either One to One or in small groups - which can be tailored to suit the students needs.
