Burrs

Burrs are scar tissues that form over the wound on the trunk of a tree which display an attractive swirl/knot pattern.

While burr timber is often used in veneering, a burr cap can make a very attractive bowl under the hands of an experienced woodturner, and burr slices can be used to make coffee tables, plaques and any number of other interesting things; just use your imagination!

Burrs and burr slices are sold by weight as follows:
